Actor Justin Baldoni has publicly addressed his legal dispute with actress Blake Lively for the first time, saying he and his family chose to remain silent throughout the ordeal to avoid adding to the public attention surrounding the case.
In a video shared on Instagram, Baldoni appeared alongside his wife, Emily, as they reflected on the emotional impact the past two years have had on their family.According to Baldoni, they had considered speaking out several times but always felt it was better to let the legal process run its course before making any public comments.
Emily described the period as deeply challenging, saying their family experienced significant emotional pain and trauma while trying to make sense of everything that happened.
Despite the difficulties, she said they remain grateful for the support they received from family, friends and their community.Baldoni added that faith, loved ones and gratitude helped them stay strong throughout the difficult period.
He said the experience reminded them of what truly matters, especially spending time with family and focusing on healing.The couple also hinted that they may speak more about the legal battle in the future, but for now, their priority is recovering emotionally and enjoying life with their children.
The legal dispute between Baldoni and Lively began in late 2024 after allegations of misconduct emerged during the production of It Ends With Us. The case later expanded into multiple lawsuits involving both parties before eventually being resolved through a settlement in 2026.Although the legal battle has ended, discussions over legal costs are still ongoing, with Lively’s legal team seeking reimbursement for expenses incurred during the case. Baldoni’s legal team is expected to respond through the court process.
